International Infotech Park, Vashi

Realising the growing importance of information and technology, Government of Maharashtra identified selected areas suitable for the growth and development of this industry in the state.

The International Infotech Park at Vashi is at the most ideal locations. More than 6 lacs sq. ft. built-up premises in the commercial complex of Vashi Railway Station have been earmarked for information technology park.

The companies, VSNL, Huge Ispath, STPI, National Stock Exchange Inter-connect etc. have already started functioning. The Infotech Park will have tremendous employment and income generation potential. It will create about 50,000 jobs direct or indirectly. The Infotech Park inaugurated on 14th June, 1998.
